At The Meating Room, we don’t just create mouth-watering burgers, fantastic fries and delicious milkshakes; Our philosophy is at the centre of everything we do. Whilst we always try and make sure that great food and exceptional service are the cornerstones of our dining experience, we also fundamentally believe that where our ingredients come from should be at the heart of what we do.

Therefore our ‘Local, Sustainable and Made to Order’ ethos is at the core of our business. We use only the freshest and finest tasting produce, which we are determined to ensure are always locally and ethically sourced. We are passionate about good food, which shows in our 100% traceable British beef burgers which are hand pressed daily, and never frozen.

We feel that the bun is a fundamental part of any brilliant burger and as such our buns are baked fresh and delivered into us every day from our local Hertfordshire bakery and used across all our sites without exception. This combined with our delicious homemade relishes add the finishing touch to every Meating Room dish ensuring every bite reflects our commitment to quality and taste.

These are just a couple of examples of how we do things, and we always try and ensure that this philosophy extends to all our ingredients, processes, and actions at The Meating Room.

With sites in St. Albans, Harpenden and Berkhamsted, and further locations planned across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, we intend to weave our philosophy into the fabric of the communities we serve, and of everything we do as a business.
